Sports Nutrition

Good nutrition and optimal training spell success in athletic competition. Sports Nutrition – Eat to Fuel Performance is an education resource for coaches, health and physical education teachers, and parents. This kit will help educate your teen athletes about nutrition to enhance athletic performance and prevent fatigue. You may download the information and reproduce for educational use.

Written by Registered Dietitian Robin Hamre, RD, LD, MPH, this education resource was developed by the Iowa Beef Industry Council with a special grant from Land O’Lakes Farmland Cooperatives.
